Harry Stahel, our Managing Director, has more than 30 years of finance, accounting, capital markets, contract negotiation, M&A transaction, profit enhancement, and process improvement experience across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.  Mr. Stahel has executed $1.8 Billion of transactions including $0.7 Billion of public debt and equity, $0.6 Billion of M&A transactions, and $0.5 Billion of structured project financing deals.

Prior to founding HCS Energy Consulting, Mr. Stahel served as Executive Vice President of Finance for Thunderbird Resources where he led the strategic planning and financial forecasting group, executed public and private capital raising transactions, developed key performance indicators, and company presentations for investors and roadshows.

Mr. Stahel has also served as Director of Finance & Accounting for Enogex where he created financial reporting and forecasting tools, collaborated with the commercial and operational executives to transform a $32 million loss from continuing operations into $45 million of income from continuing operations over 3 years, and sold $275 million of under-performing assets.

Mr. Stahel joined Enogex from Aquila Energy where he served as CFO of the gas marketing and midstream asset development operations in London and later as the Director of Treasury where he executed joint ventures and raised project finance debt for a gas storage facility and a gas fired power plant.

Mr. Stahel began his career with the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen &Co, providing audit services to oil and gas clients.
